Congratulations Marian & Patrick, Now Mr. & Mrs!

Marian and Patrick were married on December 15th in Dry Ridge, KY. Although I was scared for my life on the drive there (remember--- freezing rain/ snow mix?!) it ended up being a really fun day. They were married at Dry Ridge Christian Church, which is a beautiful little chapel that seemed to really match Marian and Patrick's style, simple and elegant. They later celebrated with family and friends at their reception where they served a down-home meal of barbecued pork, goat (yes, goat!) potato salad, coleslaw and green beans. How cool is that?! The photos below are just a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Open House

With Christmas right around the corner (literally) I haven't exactly had a lot of time to update my blog lately. My apologies to my faithful readers! I am really going to stay on top of it next year (ahh... yet another resolution!)

On December 11th, my husband and I hosted about 65 of our closest friends and family for an open house. This year has been absolutely amazing for our business and we just wanted to share that joy with everyone. There were appetizers, wine, good friends and beautiful art (compliments of Vogue Visions Photography, of course); needless to say, the evening was wonderful. We rented the Clubhouse at Mallard Crossings (in St. Matthews) for the event, and it was so beautiful! I spent a great deal of time scouting out possible locations to host the open house, but I knew as soon as I walked into Mallard Crossings that it was the place. The rooms are spacious and very warm & homey, just as I imagined. I loved loved loved the space!!

We have been so blessed and we are excited to see what the future holds for us.

All pictures compliments of Rebecca Hill (hey... I was too busy chatting it up with everyone to break out the camera!) :)

Old Louisville Meets New Louisville

By Staff Report, The Voice-Tribune

Old Louisville Meets New Louisville to benefit the Blue Apple Players was held at The Henry Clay on Nov. 17.

The event was planned by a group of 20-somethings who wanted to bring together young Louisvillians and “older” ones for a fundraiser.

The planning committee included Lee Vish, Monica Hearne, Cordt Huneke, Charlie Farnsley and Jackson Andrews.

The event, which raised more than $16,800, included a raffle, as well as music by Curtis Lewman, D-L and Brigid Kaelin.

My husband Luke and I (as seen above, photo by: Tim Valentino) had the honor of donating a portrait session to the raffle, as well as enjoying the wonderful evening planned by The Bachelors' Club. We love donating our time and services to worthy causes that are in line with our values. The Blue Apple Players do an invaluable service to the youth of our community and we are proud supporters! If you would like to learn more about the Blue Apple Players and their mission, please visit their website.
