Kate's First Nap in her Crib

Ok, ok... I must admit that Kate is certainly not lacking in the area of having photos taken. What can I say? I'm a proud mom and a photographer. I hope I can be there to document every one of her "firsts" as she grows. Yesterday, she took her first nap in her crib. Usually, she sleeps on my chest or occasionally in her co-sleeper (which is like a small bassinet that scoots up next to our bed.) Isn't she a chubby little doll?! By the way, she is over 13lbs now! She is growing like a weed!

Lexi and Russ are Engaged!

Kate's Mimi came over to watch her for a couple of hours this morning so I could shoot Lexi and Russ's engagement session. I met them at Locust Grove for some fun, casual shots. They are such a FUN couple who aren't afraid to poke fun at each other. I had such a good time with them and I can't wait for their October wedding! Aren't they adorable?!

Baby Lexi

I had the privilege of shooting 3 week old Baby Lexi last week. Lexi's mommy, Jennifer, was my sister Becca's former boss at Target in Owensboro. When Becca left to come back to Louisville, she wanted to do something extra special for Jennifer because she was such a supportive and wonderful boss.
