Trina & Shaun, due in 4 Weeks!

Trina is a fellow Bellarmine Alumni, and was in several of my psychology classes. She and her husband, Shaun, actually celebrated their one year anniversary today. Congratulations Trina & Shaun on one year of marriage and the soon-to-be new addition to your family!

Jen & Hank's Engagmement Session

First of all, Jen & Hank's session was on the same day that my brother, Jerad, left for Ft. McCoy (soon to be deployed to Afghanistan.) They really helped to lift my spirits and we ended up having so much fun! Thanks guys!!

We shot the entire session in locations are Crescent Hill, where they live & love. The photos turned out so beautifully because they are so natural with one another and just have a lot of fun.

Danielle & Todd's Engagement Session

Danielle & Todd's wedding is fast approaching, so we ventured out to Waterfront Park & Main Street to shoot their engagement session. Todd's little girl came along which made the session even more fun.

One Hero Among Many

In about a week, my brother, Jerad, will be on a plane bound for Afghanistan. Although I am scared for the dangers he will face, I am so proud of him. He stands for what he believes in and he is a patriot. I am so thankful that we have brave young men and women like him to defend our great country and our way of life. It is because of our soldiers that we aren't facing the terror of many parts of the world on our own soil right now.

Before he left, I wanted to shoot some photos of him that really honor that notion. We went to the US Soldier burial ground at Cave Hill Cemetery for the ones in uniform. The casual ones were shot on Bardstown Road in the Highlands.

Please keep my brother and his unit in your thoughts and prayers over the coming months.

The Bridal Suite of Louisville Photo Shoot

We had such a great time shooting these photos last week! I had great models and they made it a lot of fun. Laurie is going to use a few of these to decorate her bridal boutique (not that it needs much-- it is a very beautiful store!) If you haven't purchased your gown yet, I strongly recommend paying them a visit!
