Family Reunion

I usually don't shoot "events," but this project was an exception. The family wanted candid shots, as well as posed family portraits with individual families. Of course, I love to shoot children, and they presented the most natural source of candid photos, as they were on-the-go- playing, laughing, having fun. I really enjoyed the laid-back family atmosphere of this session. Here are some of my favorite candid shots of the day.

My Husband, the Beautiful, Amazingly Talented Athlete... and a few of his friends

My husband, Luke, and a few of his friends (all of which I think are cRaZy!) did a triathlon at Tom Sawyer Park on Saturday. They swam a half mile, biked 14 miles, then ran a 5k. Wow! Luke started training about 7 weeks before, which is not enough time at all. And then he hurt his knee playing softball the Monday before the race.

He still finished with a time of 1 hour, 40 minutes! I am so proud of his accomplishment!!

Kristina and Aaron

Kristina and Aaron had their engagement session a couple of weeks ago at Locust Grove. I have been so busy I am just getting around to posting my favorites. They are a really fun couple and I am really looking forward to their October wedding.

Allison and Brian are Hitched!

Allison and Brian were married on July 12th at Ascension Lutheran and had their reception at Persimmon Ridge. Here are a few of my favorites-- it was so hard to choose-- Allison was such an amazingly beautiful bride!

Their entire day really reflected their personalities. Simple. Beautiful. Heartfelt. I loved it.
