Ginger and Chan at Yew Dell Gardens

I had the chance to hang out with Ginger and Chan for a very laid-back lifestyle portrait session. We had such a good time together! They brought a blanket, a picnic basket full of goodies, and a bottle of wine and just enjoyed each other's company. Aren't they the cutest?!

Danielle and Todd

Danielle and Todd were married at the Mariott Downtown, which is absolutely beautiful. I am so excited to share these images! Enjoy!

p.s. I am working on their slideshow right now, which is coming very soon-- Todd wrote a song for Danielle on their wedding day (isn't he the sweetest thing?!) that I am going to use for the background music.

Remembering 9/11

On this day seven years ago our nation was changed forever. Or at least, it changed me forever. I have been truly amazed how quickly people forget the complete horror of that fateful day. I distinctly remember watching the news footage on September 11, 2001. Remember seeing the planes crashing into the towers over and over again? The smoke? The terrified looks on people's faces? The panic? I was an idiot sophomore in college, and though embarrassing to admit, I didn't even know what the Twin Towers were. I would only come to realize in the days, weeks and months that passed the true magnitude of what had occurred. The great loss, the sorrow of our nation. The realization that we have to protect ourselves from letting this happen again.

I have heard only a few mentions of today's anniversary among colleages and friends today. I am simply asking that each one of you, my faithful readers, take a moment to reflect on the impact that day had on you and your family as well as remember those who lost their lives in the attacks.

Put your flags on display today in support of the families who lost loved ones and in support of our soldiers. They sacrifice everyday so we can go on about the business of living our lives, without constant fear of attack on our soil again.

Victoria and Chase, Excited Parents to Be!

I had the pleasure of shooting maternity photos for Victoria and Chase recently. These images are absolutely amazing. Victoria is happy and she radiates beauty. I can't wait for Baby Kendal to get here so I can shoot them all together.

Mom is very ready for Kendal to get here!

I love all the cute little details of her nursery.

I couldn't possibly not include the other member of the family in these photos! He was so well behaved the whole time, but his curiosity got the best of him toward the end of the session- he had to jump up on the bed.

Dad tapping his fingers on Momma's belly... so cute!

The wedding rings that won't fit anymore... :)
