I recently asked a client to write a testimonial for a marketing piece I was creating and I was so moved by what she wrote, that I thought I would share it with you.

"Our photo session with Jessica was enjoyable and effortless. Obtaining a quality photo of small children is often frustrating and in the end it can have disappointing results especially in commercial studios. Volunteer Needed for Parents Behind the Lens Workshop!

I will be conducting a small workshop, Parents Behind the Lens, on Thursday, April 9th from 6:00-8:00 at the KIDS Center on Eastern Parkway. I need a volunteer to bring their child (or children) up to 5 years old for a live mini-shoot. We will bring toys or plan a small activity and allow the participants to practice what they have learned. If you volunteer for your kiddo(s) to be our subjects, I will make sure you get a disc of the images I take that night, as a special reward for you being so nice!

Two Wonderful Years of Marriage!

Today is mine and Luke's two year anniversary. It doesn't seem like it has been that long, but we've come a long way since then. I am so thankful to have such a wonderful, loving husband. Honestly, I don't know what I did to deserve him, but he is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Today we will celebrate who we are as a couple, and the family that we are becoming!

Nicki and Bobby's Wedding Shower and Engagements

I had the privilege of shooting Nicki and Bobby's wedding shower yesterday, then we braved the cold weather for a few minutes to get some fun shots with their puppy. I am so excited for their upcoming April wedding- it is going to be beautiful!
